Welcome to Go Active Fitness, my name is Damian Duff, I am a Personal Trainer in central Tunbridge Wells.
A lot of people fear the idea of exercise due to gyms fitted with alien, complex and scary looking machinery, vast amounts of super fit people grunting, groaning and sweating all over the place and exercise classes with names such as "Killer Circuit and Abs Blast!". This can understandably be an intimidating scenario for anyone new to exercise.
This along with little or no knowledge of exercise, little time and lack of motivation are some of the many reasons why they stop before they've even started.
My point is that exercise should be fun and not something to fear or worry about. My aim as your Personal trainer is to help, guide, motivate and supply you with the knowledge to safely achieve your personal fitness goals. The rest is up to you!
At Go Active Fitness my approach to getting you fitter is by using back to basics fitness methods with the emphasis being on keeping sessions fun, safe and varied whilst at the same time motivating and pushing you towards your fitness goals.  

Training sessions will take place at a local park in the Tunbridge Wells area or I can come to your home, work or a location convenient to yourself.

As a qualified Exercise Referral Instructor I am able to train clients with various health conditions such as Coronary heart disease, Stroke, Obesity, Copd, Diabetes, Mental health problems, Musculoskeletal conditions such as Arthritis (Osteo and Rheumatoid), Hip/Knee replacements and some Cancers.
With the consent of your GP you can be referred onto a qualified Exercise Referral Specialist where you will start a personal exercise plan designed around your ability and most importantly your medical conditions. Exercise Referrals are for all abilities as long as your Gp deems you fit enough to sart an exercise program.

As a Personal Trainer and Exercise Referral Instructor I have experience working with clients of all ages and abilities. I also worked closely with Physiotherapists rehabilitatiing post operativetive patients after hip or knee surgery/replacements. I have run various group exercise classes for young and old such as  Circuits, Balance and Flexibility and Lower limb strength and stability. Safe and structured Exercise can help to alleviate symptoms of various health conditions so don't let these said conditions stop you from from startng an exercise program. With consent from your GP I am able to design an exercise program around your physical ability and current  health conditions such as Obesity, Coronary heart disease, Stroke, Copd, Diabetes, Mental health problems, Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoperosis, Hip/Knee replacements and some Cancers.

Exercise Classes

Motivate each other, Fun atmosphere

.Current classes are Online Fitness Strength and Conditioning class for all abilities - Tuesdays at 10am via Zoom Or WhatsApp and a lower intensity  Outdoor Strength and Mobility class on Thursdays from 12pm to 1pm held at Calverley Grounds in Tunbridge Wells (walk around the park and exercise using bands).

Fitness Training Program Design

Flexibility, Convenience and Guidance to Exercise

My Online Personal Fitness Training Program Design service can be a more flexible  and convenient way of  getting  fit and Healthy. Your personal Online fitness program will be designed around your goals and what equipment you may or may not have available. Once your program is complete, it will be emailed to you and you can then begin your training sessions when and where you like. Consultations via video chat or phone will be available if needed during the course of your exercise program.

Some knowledge of exercise recommended as I won't physically be there at your training sessions.
