Welcome to Go Active Fitness, Damian Duff is an experienced Personal Trainer working in central Tunbridge Wells.
People have various barriers to exercise such as - Fear of gyms fitted with alien, complex and scary looking machinery. Being unable to get a workout done as its too busy or having no one to show you the ropes and get you started.
This along with little or no knowledge of exercise, not enough time or lack of motivation are some of the many reasons why we stop before we've even started.

These can understandably be intimidating and off-putting reasons for anyone new to starting exercise.

Exercise should be fun and not something to fear or worry about. My aim as your Personal trainer is to help, guide, motivate and supply you with the knowledge to safely achieve your personal fitness goals. The rest is up to you!
At Go Active Fitness my approach to getting you fitter is by using a range of fitness methods designed for you with the emphasis on keeping sessions fun, safe and varied whilst at the same time motivating and gently pushing you towards your fitness goals.  

One to one session's will take place at local parks in the Tunbridge Wells area, or I can come to your home, work or a location convenient to yourself. 

Exercise classes held in various locations in the Tunbridge Wells area.

Workout with Ropes

Skinners School Exercise sessions

Circuit based exercise sessions now being held in Skinners School Gym on St Johns Road, Tunbridge Wells.


These are circuit style exercise sessions using different types of equipment and exercise methods such as resistance, cardiovascular and floor/core strength work.


We use various equipment such as weights, battle ropes, TRX and boxing drills to keep the sessions fresh and varied each week. 

Optional monthly fitness testing is also done to keep track of your progress during the sessions.

Groups are limited to 6 people, so each person gets more attention as opposed to a larger exercise class.

Sessions currently run-on Tuesday evenings from 7.15pm - 8.15pm at Skinners School Gym on St Johns Road, Tunbridge Wells

New boxing and bodyweight exercise class for all abilities. Pair up, get the gloves on and enjoy a fun and varied workout which will help to lift your mood, improve fitness levels and leave you feeling energized for the rest of the day.

Safe and structured Exercise can help to alleviate symptoms of various health conditions so don't let these said conditions stop you from from startng an exercise program. With consent from your GP I am able to design an exercise program around your physical ability and current  health conditions such as Obesity, Coronary heart disease, Stroke, Copd, Diabetes, Mental health problems, Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoperosis, Hip/Knee replacements and some Cancers.

One to One Fitness

This is the most effective way of training due to me being there to motivate and make sure exercises are performed safely. Whether you’re training to lose weight, increase strength or just looking to improve your general health and well being, one to one personal training sessions will help you increase your fitness, leave you feeling great, looking good and feeling better about yourself in no time.

Group Exercise Motivation

Skinners School Fitness Sessions, St Johns Road, Tunbridge Wells -  Tuesday evenings 7.15pm.

Outdoor Strength and Mobility class on Thursdays at 10am held at Calverley Grounds in Tunbridge Wells on the basketball court.

Camden centre  Tuesdays 10am - Strength, balance and moibility with seated exercise adaptions if needed - all abilities welcome

BOXFIT - Boxing drills and bodyweight exercises - St Johns park, Beltring road, Tunbridge Wells. Saturdays 10am.
